In addition to the eagerly awaited Solo Melbourne Cup heats, tomorrow night Sandown racetrack will also play host to the Group 2 Bold Trease Carnival Cup Final, which due to a low number of nominations for the $25 000 event has led to a straight out final only.
Frontrunner favourite for the event, as mentioned in our Graeme Bate post, has to be Bate’s Amity Bale, jumping from box five.
Scheduled as race 8 on Thursday night, the Group 2 Bold Trease Carnival Cup Final is due to start at 9.35pm. Although Amity Bale might experience some challenge from Next Top Model, we’d say the smart money is on Amity.
